A little help?

Ok, I'm going to go all girl here for a bit. Humor me please. Oh, and no snark. I'm looking for honest opinions here. Here's the thing. I have this crush. This gigantic crush. He's someone from my class. So, he's been around since September. We have class once a week for 2 1/2 hours. I feel like he appreciates my humor, he's laughed out loud a few times at things I say. I feel like he picks on me (in a good natured way). He's super cute. But not unaccessible. I've had a crush for a while, but it's gotten worse. See, if I notice that there's some banter going on for a while, I get a little nervous. So. Advice. I need advice people. I dig him the most. Yet. I don't know how to approach it. I can't write more about this now, I'm getting all nervous just thinking about it. I don't want to mess it up. So, again, I say HELP?

2 1/2 hours?

Don't you umm, need a drink or something after all that time?

Umm, I'm out of practice, admittedly. And I kind of sucked at it even at my peak....

Arrange a study date. Do it on your turf and share a beer or three.

Well, not like I am the best at this (see my current super-crush that I actually had a date with and maybe squandered...) but ask him out. Really. Not the whole class, not a study date, just - do you want to get a beer after class kind of thing, just to him. You only live once. Live it up! And BEST of luck!

I think just ask him to do something after class -- the two of you alone and see where it goes. It will be in how you say it that conveys it is more than just having a chai at Starbucks.

Ask him out for a drink after class. Do this after/during your next class. Strike while the flames of passion are hot and your forge will be full of pumping bellows. That metaphor broke down on me.

Anyway, just go for it: "Hey, sweetcheeks, want to go get a drink somewhere?"

Chuckles - I'm saving the "Hey, sweetcheeks" line for your visit....:)

Well, they are pretty sweet, I do have to admit that.
