I'm no hypocrite

Because Julia called me out on this: There was another Crosstown Classic this past weekend, whilst I was in MI. The White Sox swept the Cubs. That's one way to look at it. Another: Between the six games played between these two Chicago teams, an even split. I'm saying it now: See you in October, South Side. (I myself will be far far away from Chicago should that happen. The city will Implode.)

Sox-Cubs World Series would be incredible, not just for the excitement factor, but because the Apocalypse would immediately follow its conclusion.

But what a way to implode.

I agree with both of you. It would be exciting. A whole new definition of exciting.

I am loving the Sox eating it to the TB Devil Rays. Especially since I had free tickets to a game for someone...

Look at it this way, real estate will become much more reasonable when half the city burns in celebration.

Hopefully it won't be the half I live in.

Didn't you learn anything, B?! They don't burn the city. The Boston Police Department just shoots young college students who do nothing wrong.

Geesh.

No, they burn shit in Chicago. It's a tradition dating back to when Mrs. O'Leary's Cow led the Cubs to their last World Series.

Burning man?!! I doubt it. They are going to shoot people.

You heard it here first.

They'll burn first... then shoot.

Of course on the opposite side of the city, they shoot first, then burn.
