Stupid me
So, I have no laptop again, due to my own stupidity.
I love when people, family people, make me feel bad, so I do something to make THEM feel better, and I get screwed.
"Von, I was hurt when you sent your laptop to Best Buy."
"E, I'm sorry. It's running really slowly, would you take a look at it for me?"
"Sure."
So, I leave my laptop with E (stepbrother1) on Friday night.
He ASSURES me that I will have it back during the weekend.
It's Tuesday.
No laptop.
Sent E a scathing email this morning, accusing him of being worse that Best Buy.
We'll see how this pans out.

Tell him you know zombeez, and if he values his branes and internal organs, delay is inadvisable.

...if my laptop goes belly up, I am so dead. I cannot afford a newie.

The failures of PC hardware, Microsoft software, and Best Buy half-trained geeks is HARDLY your fault. Galling as it is.
Giving it to your stepbro, in lieu of a fish you have never met? That is TOTALLY your fault.
I think Jon Langford will back me up on this.
I will ask Jon L his thoughts on the subject when I see him next month. ;)
I know, I know......I should have NEVER given it to stepbro!!!
